There is now so much available to Christians that goes completely against what the Bible teaches, that I'm horrified by it. The reason I'm horrified is because while there's a great deal of false teaching being taught by many so called pastors and many false churches leading people astray, they at least are recognized as having to do with religion. Therefore, those who have any sense at all, should know to exercise discernment concerning what's being taught. The problem today though is that now many things that supposedly have nothing to do with "religion" and are supposedly totally secular and just a part of everyone's life, are actually heretical teachings against Christ.I'm speaking about things like going to a doctor and being told what you need to do to cure whatever disease you're seeing the doctor for, or to either get healthy or stay healthy, depending on why you're seeing the doctor. The medical field has not just been infiltrated by Satan, it's been filled with all kinds of Satanic counterfeits. Worse, while we're now quite used to hearing about "alternative medicine" a great many of these things are no longer called "alternatives", they're spoken of and written about as if they're every bit as kosher and normal as being given an antibiotic for an infection. Today, many people are using these things on themselves and their children and babies, and have absolutely no idea that they go completely against what God tells us in His Word. And who can blame them really? Who would think that we'd need to be careful about what a doctor tells us??? Further, today there are doctors that have huge followings like a Broadway star does, like Dr Oz, and Dr Mercola, and much of what they advocate goes completely against God's Word.
It gets worse though. Satan has also filled the public schools with many things that go against God's Word. We've known for a long time that the public schools wouldn't allow prayer, and then they began to teach evolution as fact, but at least we knew how to counter those things. After all, creation is something that's in God's Word and we could easily teach it to our children. But now they're teaching our children all kinds of things that are counter to God's Word and many parents are completely unaware of it, partially because of how they twist the meaning of words, and also because the schools usually don't tell the parents about these things. After all, they're considered normal today, so why should they? Children as young as 5 are now being taught how to meditate - but not the way the Bible tells us to. No, they're taught to empty their minds instead and to invite a spirit guide in to teach them. The spirit guides are demons, but of course no one tells anyone that, and if anyone did, they'd just be laughed at. This too isn't the only thing that's being taught to the children though. We're aware that they've totally rejected that God created us and that He created us as males and females. Instead, they teach the kids that they can choose what they want to be, regardless of what their body looks like or what their parents say. They teach them that marriage can be between anyone regardless of their sex, and further that no one has to get married, that people can just live together, and that's fine too. They teach the kids that it's fine to get pregnant before their married, because marriage isn't necessary anymore. it's outdated. And if you don't want the baby, then you can kill it without any problems. They teach the kids that they have more rights then their parents and that their parents can't discipline them or tell them what to do any longer. They teach the kids that they're all good and should put themselves ahead of everyone else - again the opposite of what God teaches us. See: The Biblical View of Self-Image
They teach our children so many things that are totally opposite of what the Bible teaches, that not a day goes by that they aren't being literally brainwashed, and that scares me to death.
We've always had to watch out for wolves in sheep's clothing in our churches, but now it's in all of life. It really scares me and when I've prayed about it, I've told the Lord that it seems like now days the only way any human can be saved at all would be through His direct intervention - in other words, a miracle. I know it's always a miracle when someone is saved, but now days the possibility of someone overcoming all the false garbage that's being put out, and coming to salvation seems just about totally impossible. Then, once they're saved, finding a church that's teaching the truth, and not falling prey to a lot of false teaching also seems just about impossible without yet another miracle. There are just so many fake Christians that just finding another one that's truly saved to fellowship with can take a long time. You can tell the fake ones easily enough. They're the ones who's eyes kind of glaze over when you talk about what you've learned in God's Word lately. Either that, or they try to change the subject as quickly as possible. Or, when they talk about God at all, it's often about some fantastic "experience" or "feeling" they've had that "proved" something or was a "sign" to them, or maybe how someone else told them that God was going to give them lots of money or something like that.
Next, there's the other area of our lives that Satan has gotten his claws into, and that's our jobs. Many of the same things they're teaching our children, are also being taught at the workplace in seminars and conferences etc. It seems there's no place that hasn't been infiltrated and totally taken over by Satan. I can't even begin to list the many plots and schemes he has in place. It's worse then it's ever been before. The only thing it reminds me of is a scripture in Genesis that's talking about what the world was like back in the times that Noah lived in. The scripture says “The LORD saw how great man’s wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time.” (Genesis 6:5) A little further on it says: “Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight and was full of violence. God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways.” (Genesis 6:11–12) and that too seems to me a pretty accurate picture of what the world is like today too. Instead of making me even sadder, that tells me that very soon our time here will be over and we'll be going Home. I have to admit that I'm very Homesick and can't wait for that day! It can't come soon enough for me! I guess we're all like Lot who was "tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard" (2 Peter 2:7–10) Come soon Lord Jesus!
