Sorry I wasn't able to get back here yesterday. We didn't get back till supper time and then I had to do all the chores I hadn't done earlier. I didn't sit down till after 7pm and by then I was exhausted. I forgot I have a pre-op appointment today and now I need to go get ready to leave for that! Sorry again!

Just a quick hello from me. Wound up having to do stuff for my oldest son, now have to run to the grocery store. We didn't plan to, but I'm out of cat food. (thought I had more). So off we go!

About the ever diminishing cat food!!!
Ours is going even waaaay quicker,
now that we are feeding our 1/2 cat.
He is a stray, and he has taken a great dislike to our female,
because I think in his mind:
She is keeping him from coming into our place
where it's warm, no rain, hail etc.
Which is true!
He chased her outside,
( she runs and screams)
and he swats her when she comes into the house...
so...
NO!!!
she will not allow him in.....
All that to say,
therefore,
we have to feed him a LOT MORE food!!!
A) he is a big cat
B) and it is the coldest and rainiest year I ever remember
So since he is outside ALL the time...
( we run into the house from the car brrrrrr)
he needs more fuel to stay alive!!!
Thus
a 40 pound bag of cat food
will not last very long,
feeding 2 'super sized' males
and a small female!Cats can sure be a pain at times!
Out of cat food? Thats an emergency of the utmost importance! I know because I have 5 cats and they boss me around something awful. LOL
I love each one of them, Midnight, Patches, Buster, Spanky, and Bun-Bun.
My home would be empty without them.
Yes, my cats thought so too LOL. I agree with you about it not being a home without them!

We used to have 5 cats and one Airedale.
Now an Airedale could be an over the top breed,
they were the 1st police dogs
and war dogs!
On the flip side, in England they were nannies
for wee infants.
They are also considered 'clowns' of the dog world.
But our five cats at the time,
they thought Shama was a great comfy bed!
And she totally tolerated and did what they said!
Licorice, one of our females
annoyed a neighbor's male cat to no end.
One day while I was out in the yard with Shama
Licorice came running around the side of our house
likkity split!
And right behind her the male enemy!!!
She ran right under Shama's legs
( who took a 'ready' stance)
eyeballing the male.
Licorice then set to calmly grooming herself!
When the male cat saw Shama
he did a 180 in mid air
and skedaddle back to his house!!
I have often wished I had a video
back then of that incident.
It was the funniest thing!!!
Because the female cat was almost
'doing her nails',
pretty as you please..
because she knew without a doubt
she was as safe as she could be
under her guard!
I doubt Shama would have ever hurt the cat,
(after all she had 5 cats of her own!!)
but she did not need to...
hurt him!!!
Her stance and look
brokered no other option!!!!
and the male cat read her loud and clearly!!
But he was an amazing athlete
to be going at top speed, and flip his whole body around
while way up in mid air!
Yeah cats!
cats can't live with them
