I 'think' I remember Hossanah telling me
that Devon's inhalers were something like $1000?
A LOT anyway....
But she does have 2 insurances
one for her children
and another from her work...
But the question is
how long will that last?
For the most part Devon is not having much asthma these days
He used to have to go to the hospital even as a young child.
Now it is only a rare occasion he might need his inhaler
It is the 100% peanut allergy that is the main issue
and for now the epi-pins are still covered.
I have two inhalers. The Spiriva Respimat is the most expensive one as it costs $625. A regular Albuterol inhaler is between $18 and $30 depending on the dose. I'd love to know what kind of inhalers he has. I'm wondering if there's a big price difference between our states. Oh duh, I wasn't thinking about generic vs brand name. Forgot about that.

Yes, it might have been around $500 each, but Hossanah always would get,

because Vanessa ( Devon's sister also has asthma!)
So that is probably where the $1000 came in.
Although Hossanah did not pay that....
And at the time, Devon used his nebulizer machine...
so that too had medicine.
It's been years since he has had to use the machine
and rarely the inhaler.....
But the prices!!!!!!

DUDE guess what happen to me my printer went dead LOL! so I score new one at Staples I need printer for home reason is I downloaded coupon my parent lab test and Pharamcy records so I need a printer I got one that Shaquite O'neal adveriste that one I don't know how hook it up but my neighbor does he did it for me I give him 50 bucks and my dad gave him 12 pack of beer LOL! WINNING LOL!
He didn't mind he work in tech office so this like piece for cake for him the printer went down on Friday afternoon I went on Saturday morning o Staples least I got some digtial coupons score 10 dollars I think cost me 70 dollar saving I have alot of point the printer really cost almost 200 dollar if I did without coupons

When I read about the job gains being fake, it gave me a thought.... let me know what you guys think of this:
This year I started seeing something about lies or deception daily in the Bible, no matter where or what book I was reading. I saw it in the Old Testament and the New Testament. At first it was like once a day, but as time went on it got to me more often until it seemed like no matter what book I was studying in the Bible, t was all about the difference between lies and truth. I also kept running into these verses: “... They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.” (2 Thes 2:10–12) Two others kept coming up too: “Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.” (1 Cor 13:6) “Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son, will be with us in truth and love.” (2 John 3) I'm not going to post them, but I also kept getting scriptures that said the opposite, you know, talking about wicked people who are filled with hate and deception. I'm sure you guys can probably think of a number of those. God even kept showing me this in fiction books I was reading and on TV!
So then I started looking closer to home, at people I knew really well. These are/were good people who at least acted like decent people sometime, like when at work or something like that. But the people I was observing started lying. At first it was just one thing. Not a big deal even, but eventually they added more to it. It finally became a big deal. And they still added more lies to their repertoire. I noticed something else about them then, they had become hateful. They weren't like that before, or at least it had never shown before, but they sure were now. I realized then that somehow hate and deception were linked together. If you had one, you would also have the other, whether you wanted to or not. I then watched people that were in the news - both reporters and the people who were being reported about. Again I saw lies and hate were bed fellows. Some of the people covered up their hate or their lies better than others, but both were always there.
So what does this mean when we look at presidential candidates or news reporters and the companies that hire them? What does this mean about the teachers who are teaching our children and grandchildren? Or how about the universities and colleges that allow the kids to be so hateful? What does it say about the leaders of other countries? Or how about the false teachers today? What about the teachers of Islam? How much truth are we actually getting today?
We all know these two scriptures:
“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. ....” (John 14:6)
“To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”” (John 8:31–32)
Speaking of all of this, I used to think that Jesus was talking about Biblical truth. I tended to separate life into two groups, biblical stuff and then the rest of life. The thing was, I thought all the rest of the stuff was perfectly fine and good. I've learned from God's Word that it isn't. God tells us not to be conformed to this world. (Romans 12:2) This world is lies and hate. That's why we're strangers or aliens here. We're of the Truth and love, like our Father -God. The unsaved are of lies and hate, like their father - Satan.
OK, I'll shut up now.  Aren't you glad I can't post a lot of this stuff like I used to on our old board?

I knew that Jo Ann fabric had filed bankrupcy, I hear some stores that are still open for business only have 50% fabric the rest is fronted items, like halloween stuff. When I start sewing I want cotton fabric so I will have to look for that somewhere but not at online Jo Anns.

I used to think that people lied out of fear...fear of punishment,
or fear they could not have enough food etc. to live.
What I did not understand is some people lie
because it gets them attention
or
power
or
they want to manipulate people
or
hurt someone on purpose, just because they can.
Which reminds me of this verse:

I am such a dork right now see in SO CAL I woke up in time to watch Davey and Golaith and Hanna Barbara cartoon also Fat Albert I doubt they show that cartoons bring good memories

Sorry I couldn't be here yesterday. I had to have xrays done and Jenn had a doctor appointment and we had to take her home. Then we had to do our shopping. We didn't get home till supper time.
This morning a nurse came out to determine what kind of help we need. It was so weird. I used to do the intake for elderly who were admitted to the Friendship Manor (a residential care facility) and now a nurse was doing that for me and Bruce! It looks like I'll be getting help, although it will still be several weeks before that happens. The state moves very slowly LOL
I have a doctor appointment today too. Maybe they'll be able to tell me why my legs hurt so much all the time now. I just hope Bruce can take me as he has a migraine at the moment.
Barbara, that's true, some people lie for those reasons and some people also lie simply because they want certain other people to like them so they say bad things about people that those other people don't like. Other's lie so they won't get in trouble. There's probably as many reasons for lying as there are people.

Yes, the lying to get people to like them....
I have seen that especially with young folks ( teens and early 20's).
But yes, there does seem to be as many reasons people lie, as there are people!!!
And of course, we should not forget the 'father' of lies, Satan, the devil,
who can add a lot to lies!

I wanted to share something else I got from studying Genesis and the Flood. This is from my notes on the following verse: “By the twenty-seventh day of the second month the earth was completely dry. Then God said to Noah, “Come out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and their wives.” (Gen 8:14–16)
If we count the year of Adam’s creation as 1, then Noah was born in the year 1056. Genesis 6:3 indicates that God gave Noah 120 years to build the ark and preach (1 Peter 3:20), which means he was 480 years old when he started (Gen 7:11). This would be the year 1536. The flood came in Noah’s 600th year, which would be 1656, and in the year 1657, his 601st year, Noah and his family were back on dry ground (Gen 8:13ff).
The Flood Considered Prophetically. Christ teaches that the days before the rapture and the Tribulation will be like the days of Noah (Luke 17:26, Matt. 24:37–39). We are living in the “days of Noah” today. We see such parallels as the multiplication of people in the “population explosion” (Gen 6:1); moral corruption of every kind (Gen 6:5); violence (Gen 6:11, 13); the expansion of arts and industry (Gen 4:16–22); lack of conscience, even for murder (Gen 4:23–24); and true believers being in a minority (Gen 6:8–10). But keep in mind that “the days of Noah” were also days of witness. In fact, God had told Enoch that judgment was coming, and he warned the people (Jude 14–15). Methuselah, Enoch’s son, was born in the year 687 and lived 969 years. He died in the year 1656—the very year the flood came! In other words, God gave the wicked world 969 years of grace. And for the last 120 years of that period, Noah was preaching and preparing the ark (Gen. 6:3; 1 Peter 3:20). It’s 2024 now and things have become much worse. out of curiosity I subtracted 120 years from 2024 and got 1904. I then remembered that the holocaust was during the 40’s and of course Hitler had to lead the people up to doing that. In the Holocaust Museum it shows 1933–1938 as the time leading up to the Holocaust. So just for giggles let’s add 120 to 1933 and see what year we get: 2053. That’s only 28 and a half years from now. Of course God doesn’t have to give us 120 years to repent, He could give us more or less. But I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the number He gives us as it’s in keeping with what Jesus said. The question is, what year did or does it start? I’m not trying to set a date. I would never do that. What I’m trying to do is show myself and everyone else that judgment is coming and it’s coming soon! But then Math is not my strong subject, so let me know if my math is wrong!

Cindy, I have trouble counting above the number 9, those double digits give me fits. LOL.
One thing I'm pretty sure of is I won't be here (at least not in this body) in 28.5 years because that would make me just past 100 years old! If I make it to this October, I will turn 72.
