As far as rattlesnakes go I think people are most concerned about opening their front door and seeing a rattlesnake right there in front of them, happened to one of my neighbors and he told neighbors about it.
Last week I saw a dead rattlesnake head just outside the skirting of my mobile home, I wonder what killed the snake, I have different cats that go under the mobile home also dogs and skunk, whichever one killed the snake I don't know. I know a dog will kill a non venomous snake but I think they stay away from rattlesnakes, I am guessing that a skunk minds its own business if possible, so probably a cat.
Do you know anyone who uses a sun oven? Years ago I was hearing people talk about sun ovens and now I don't hear that talk anymore. I am wondering if I should get a sun over or not.

Wow John! All the years I lived in Florida, I never knew it was illegal to kill a snake... but then I don't think I ever saw a snake either. If I'd seen one anywhere though, I'd expect someone to kill it! I don't care how far from my house it was! Why would anyone want to protect rattlesnakes? One of my earliest memories is from when I was probably 2 years old and my mom yelling at me to stay on her bed (I think I'd taken a nap there). There was a rattler in the bedroom. My mom ran and got one of those big heavy metal trash cans and stuck it upside down over the snake. Then she came and got me. When my dad got home he "took care of" the snake. All I heard was a gun shot. My parents owned a ranch then so that's where I spent my early years.
Kelly, that girl sounds like she needs to see a shrink! Talk about insanity, that sure shows it.
Marlene, I haven't heard about those sun ovens in years, but I bet if you google it you can probably find quite a bit about them.
Yesterday was quite busy and by the time I got home I was exhausted. But good news! The buyers bank finally got everything done and the closing is back on for this Friday at 1pm! That's so awesome!
Once again though I do have a bunch of paperwork to do. I need to get my will done and a living will "just in case" before I have surgery, and there's a bunch of paperwork to fill out. But first I'm going to go work on the bible study.  |

Well hey folks listen I was at Staples they having back to school sale ON EVERYTHING school supplies and stuff 50 cents off for any pens pencils and other stuff I score on my saving I used my rewards and saving digital coupons to save BIG $$
Listen I be in and out I gearing up get back to my school district job I be around it not toward mid part of August so mom and I going spent one day at office probably two weeks before I go in clean the ny school office and outter part by putting supplies she love that job she set everything up like Banker professional printer coffee and tea mix everything I mean everything Lysol and cleaning products

I do vaguely remember reading or hearing about them.
So now that you mentioned them, you piqued my curiosity.
So it seems they range from fairly inexpensive to way more in price
or you can even make your own.
These are a few quotes from a quick search I did:

I think criminals going nuts lately in SO CAL reason I have 4 car chase back to back to back in less than 6 hrs One of them happen at 10am hour then another one at 12 noon in time for lunchtime news one at 2pm news and last one happen on 8pm last night LOL! of course KCAL 9 news carry it LOL!

Kelly, It's been unusually hot here for the week and looks like it will be hot for the whole summer, because the weather report right now is saying the the high's are going to be in the 90's or at least high 80's with the coolest days just before August having a high of 83. That's way too hot for me. Plus it's been unusually humid as well! Not nice at all!
Well, tomorrow is the closing. I called the electric company this morning and told them to turn off the electricity tomorrow. The buyer is supposed to call and have it turned on in her name. (I told them she'd be calling.) The realtor gave her a note telling her about the family that lives around the corner and to avoid them and their adult children. They're thieves and liars, but will pretend to "really care about you". I didn't want her to fall for it. The rest of the neighbors are all very nice, especially those near the house. The realtor said she appreciated the heads up. So anyway, I won't be here tomorrow since we have to take care of that. Lately, by the time we get home I'm exhausted, so I doubt I'll be up to doing anything. But I'll stop by the next day, God willing! I'm so relieved the house is sold and that part of this estate is all done. Next is just paying off all the bills.

Cindy do you think you will be able to go to church this Sunday?
I am glad the sugar ants are now gone from my kitchen, seems like every year for the month of June the sugar ants are in my kitchen, I used vinegar and water to get rid of them. I was outdoors this morning removing some weeds from where I walk and sugar ants got on my legs, went indoors and took a bath with tea tree oil and all feels fine now.

We signed all the papers but the person in the Title company couldn't file the deed because there was one important paper missing that was supposed to have already been here. We signed the papers in hopes that will have arrived by Monday in which cause she'll just go ahead and file everything. But if it hasn't arrived by Monday's mail, we'll all have to go back and do it all again. Because of that, I had to admit that might be a problem since I may have to have emergency surgery. I hated having to tell them, but I didn't want the buyer (a young girl in her early 20's who's super nice!) to have to wait till I could join them if that happened. So my lawyer suggested I sign a limited power or attorney so that if that happens, he can go and sign for me. So, that's exactly what I did. He wrote it up and I signed it then and there, so she wouldn't have to wonder about when she'd be able to move in. She wasn't planning on moving till around the end of the month anyway, so this possible wait isn't upsetting her.
