Appreciate the site you gave me Anna, looked at it for awhile yesterday and plan to look further. Anna, to the Almighty and the Messiah there is no age limit, I have read were Moses was about 80 when he was instructed to bring Israel out of Egypt. As you pray He will talk with you and guide you through the Holy Spirit. Continue to read the scriptures and you will be blessed as you are led to walk in His ways, not the ways of man. Your faith will continue to grow day after day, keep Him in your thoughts through the day and night. P.S. I've been around for a few years myself and still learning.
There is something I forgot - What matters is your strong faith and following His instructions.

Thank you Anna, I will continue to look into the scriptures. I know He is coming and we will be with Him always. The teachings of heaven and the rapture that I have learned throughout my life have always puzzled me because I just can't find it in the scriptures the way it has been taught.

I just read a article in End Times that stated: "But first, what do I mean by the Rapture? I'm referring to that biblical teaching that Jesus is going to return one day soon to catch up, snatch away, rapture, believers in Christ — called the Church — off this earth and up to Heaven to live with Him forever" (John 14:1-4; 1 Corinthians 15:51-58; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). Read more: fresh-hope.com/thread/2970/misconceptions-rapture#ixzz4PhY2ry6fIf this be the case, then why would our Messiah teaches us the Lord's prayer which states: "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." Read more: fresh-hope.com/thread/2951/lords-prayer#ixzz4PhYgDq12Earth will never be like heaven unless our Messiah returns and establishes the kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. Having trouble understanding this. Even after looking up the above scriptures, I still don't understand it because there is no mention of heaven in the scriptures listed, only that we will be with Him.

Thanks seven, IMHO, all of the media play a big part on how many people think, doesn't make any difference if what is being said is fact or even true.

The Lord's Prayer King James Version (KJV) Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. Read more: www.lords-prayer-words.com/king_james_version_kjv.html#ixzz4PENhNzRiI'm a little slow, sometimes a lot slow but after reading the Lord's prayer hundreds and thousands of times something just hit me. Our Messiah is telling us to pray that the Almighty's kingdom and His will, come to this earth as it is in heaven. How awesome is that?

Could this be coming here in the U.S.A. or Canada? PUPILS at a primary school were forced to chant "Allahu Akhbar" and “there is no God but Allah", an appalled father has claimed. The father of the pupil at the girl's primary school in German ski resort Garmisch-Partenkirchen discovered that his daughter had been forced to learn the Islamic prayer when he discovered a handout she had been given. He claimed she had been "forced" by teachers to memorise the Islamic chants and forwarded the handout to Austrian news service unsertirol24. The handout read: "Oh Allah, how perfect you are and praise be to you. Blessed is your name, and exalted is your majesty. There is no God but you." It had been given to the girl during a lesson in "ethics" at the Bavarian school. Headteacher Gisela Herl did not confirm the incident when questioned, but said the school would issue a written statement detailing its position in the coming week. The incident comes just weeks after parents complained to German newspaper Hessian Niedersächsische Allgemeine (HNA) that their children's nursery was refusing to acknowledge "Christmas rituals" to accommodate the "diverse cultures" of other pupils. The Sara Nussbaum House daycare centre in Kassel refused to put up a Christmas tree, tell Christmas stories or celebrate Christmas in general because it said only a minority of pupils were Christian. A spokesman for Kassel explained: “There will be no Christmas celebrations, in the strictest sense. Because the majority of children at this kindergarten are not Christian the festival will not be celebrated in the way that it is at other schools.” Migrants now outnumber native children at many schools in Germany as the country has been inundated with migrants in recent years. More than one million migrants are estimated to have arrived in Germany during the last year alone. The Federal Office for Migration and Refugees estimates that another 200,000 people will apply for asylum in 2017. www.express.co.uk/news/world/725651/germany-migrants-allahu-akbar-muslim-christmas-islam-primary-school-pupils-angela-merkel

www.christianpost.com/news/archaeology-discovery-25-dead-sea-scroll-fragments-reveal-gods-rewards-obeying-10-commandments-170745/Archaeologists have announced the publication of more than 25 Dead Sea Scroll fragments, each holding various excerpts from the Hebrew Bible dating back almost 2,000 years. The fragments include written information about some of God's promises of rewards for those who obey the 10 Commandments, as found in the Book of Leviticus. Live Science reports that the fragments, found in the Qumran caves in the West Bank, come from the books of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Deuteronomy, Samuel, Ruth, Kings, Micah, Nehemiah, Jeremiah, Joel, Joshua, Judges, Proverbs, Numbers, Psalms, Ezekiel and Jonah. The texts from the fragments have been published in two books, namely Gleanings from the Caves: Dead Sea Scrolls and Artefacts from The Schøyen Collection, and Dead Sea Scrolls Fragments in the Museum Collection. The Schøyen Collection in particular details fragments from the Book of Leviticus, in which God promises rewards for obeying the 10 Commandments and observing the Sabbath. "If you walk according to my laws, and keep my commandments and implement them, then I will grant your rains in their season, so that the Earth shall yield its produce and the trees of the field their fruit," reads part of the fragment, as translated by Torleif Elgvin. "I will grant peace in the land, and you shall lie down untroubled by anyone; and I will exterminate vicious beasts from the land, and no sword shall cross your land," the fragment continues. "I will look with favor upon you, and make you fertile and multiply you." The scrolls are some of the oldest known biblical manuscripts in existence, and were originally hidden in 11 caves in the Judean desert somewhere around 68 BCE in order to protect them from approaching Roman armies. They were discovered in a series of findings between 1947 and 1956 at the archaeological site of Qumran, with researchers unearthing thousands of fragments from nearly 900 manuscripts. The History channel notes that it's not known who exactly wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls, though scholars believe they were created by the Essenes, a devout Jewish sect who lived in Judea while it was under the Roman Empire. The scrolls have been carefully preserved and made the subject of major efforts by Israel's national museum and Google, such as making digital copies of them available online to the entire world back in 2011, sharing with the public important information about the birth of Christianity. Michael Holmes, executive director of the Museum of the Bible Scholars Initiative, cautioned that as exciting as the latest publications are, scientists are still conducting tests on the fragments in question to make sure they are not forgeries. "The results will be incorporated in our future museum exhibits, inviting visitors to grasp and engage with issues involved with assessing authenticity," Holmes said.

Does anyone have any thoughts on the aliyah? Is it "The house of Judah" or "The house of Israel" that is returning.

Just an observation - None of the above matters, she was promised something for backing out in 2008 when she backed out of the running.

Budapest (AFP) - Europe has more than 900 "no-go areas" with large immigrant populations, Hungary's government claims on a hard-hitting new website aimed at drumming up opposition to an EU scheme to share out migrants around the bloc. In these areas "with a high number of immigrants", for example in Paris, London, Stockholm or Berlin, the authorities have "little or no control" and "norms of the host society barely prevail," the site says. Asked for the source of the information, government spokesman Zoltan Kovacs told AFP on Friday it came from "data publicly available on the Internet," without giving further details. The website, launched this week ahead of referendum in Hungary in the second half of the year on the EU quota plan, also features a ticking clock representing a migrant entering Europe every 12 seconds. "The mandatory European quotas increase the terrorist risk in Europe and imperils our culture," the website says. "Illegal migrants cross the borders unchecked, so we do not know who they are and what their intentions are. We do not know how many of them are disguised as terrorists," it adds. Prime Minister Viktor Orban's government voted against an EU plan in September to distribute 160,000 asylum-seekers among member states via quotas, and in December joined Slovakia in filing a legal complaint. So far, only 1,100 have been relocated, with Hungary not taking a single one. If Hungarian voters reject the quotas in the referendum, as surveys suggest, this would be another blow for the troubled scheme. Orban, whose hard line in the EU's migrant crisis saw him seal Hungary's southern borders, announced the referendum in February, saying Brussels has no right to "redraw Europe's cultural and religious identity." The referendum question will ask: "Do you want the EU to prescribe the mandatory relocation of non-Hungarian citizens to Hungary without the approval of the Hungarian parliament?" www.yahoo.com/news/hungary-says-900-no-areas-europe-104020231.html?nhp=1

Yes Cindy, I do remember you talking about your winter last year and was happy all went well for you and Bruce.
Leigh, hope your sister gets over her bronchitis, sure has been hanging on for some time. Sounds as if she can get out now. We still have some school districts closed, mainly the cities, rural has a 2 hour delay.
Big day today, wife and I are going out for the first time since last Friday, do a little food shopping. Maybe get some pizza. (:
Hope everyone has a great day.
Psalm 41:13 Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Amen and Amen.

Leigh, it's possible that your sister may be snowed in still. We have people here in eastern PA that still can't get out because their streets are not plowed, they are closing area down so they can clean up the snow. School is still closed in our area and may open tomorrow if they can clear out the snow around the school buses. I was happy to clear out the driveway yesterday and get to the highway. Had someone come and plow the end of our driveway, I probably would still be shoveling. Have a snow blower but not to good when there is 4 foot of snowed piled up from the plow. I thank God and my Lord for the protection they has given me and my family through this storm. Praise His Holy name.

This is just a snap shot of what's going on in these countries and on it's way throughout the world. German Town: Migrants Riot in Church, Steal From Stores, Defecate on Gardens Residents who criticize behavior of asylum seekers labeled "Nazis" Residents in the German town of Ellwangen are reporting that thousands of migrants who recently arrived are defecating on people’s gardens, staging riots in church and stealing from local stores, while police in the area struggle to cope with the disorder. Ellwangen, which has a population of around 23,500 and a strong Catholic community, was recently inundated with 4,500 asylum seekers who are staying in the old army barracks on the edge of town. The original plan was to house just 500 immigrants, but this quickly ballooned to ten times that figure, at which point “serious mass brawls and conflicts” began, prompting the police to be called out routinely. The state government is set to fork out €5.1 million euros of taxpayer money to renovate and expand the barracks. A friend of a local reports that store owners are struggling to do any business since people are afraid to go into town because of the migrants. “I read about serious theft problems in stores where ‘refugees’ walk in, take what they want or need, and walk out again without paying,” writes the individual. “In the beginning, grocery stores called the police, but stopped doing so after they were told to write up the losses and contact someone at the local municipality to reimburse them. (I had a verbal confirmation from a wife of a German police officer).” Women are also afraid to walk into town alone, with reports of a woman being raped and a 10-year-old girl being sexually harassed. “The most disturbing news he informed me about, however, was that the so called refugees go into churches to disrupt service. They would simply walk in and start to riot. ‘These people want to destroy us’, is what he said, literally. He is a very well educated business man; not someone inciting hatred against refugees. Most of the people living in that town and neighboring villages are honest, hard working people, trying to do good and be good, and now are forced to watch how their town and livelihoods are destroyed by the decision of the government to take in people that are violently opposed and opposite to the German and Christian culture.” The report also states that residents have been forced to put up signs asking migrants not to defecate in their gardens, a common practice, and to use toilets instead. According to the individual, anyone who criticizes the behavior of the migrants is immediately labeled a “Nazi”. Locals are so enraged that a dead cat was placed on the doorstep of the Mayor. While Austrians are purchasing shotguns, the individual also adds that many Germans are buying pepper spray as a means of self-defense. Similar stories are also emerging from all over Germany as small villages and towns begin to feel the impact of the migrant influx. In the post below, a woman relates how rapes, theft, the killing of pets and drug dealing all shot up after the arrival of asylum seekers. www.infowars.com/german-town-migrants-riot-in-church-steal-from-stores-defecate-on-gardens/
