My laptop has begun to freeze at first the programs become unresponsive then nothing works i cant even shut down. i cut out power and start up in safe mode. i run scans with my 3 different security software programs none of them find and issue. so i clean the disk and a random number of unsuccessful system restores later its working again but it seems like every other day for the past 2 weeks its this dance of constant shutting it off doing a system restore that for some reason is always "unsuccessful" doing this many times over and nothing seems to change accept eventually its starts working again. maleware bytes, avast and microsoft securities essentials dont find any viruses or maleware so whats going on what can i do to fix this? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. I hope you have been making routine full images of your OS and Data partitions onto external media before this set of problems began happening. I'm wondering if it is time to check the hard-drive health with the manufacturer's suggested utilities.
